Also buy 1 oz. coins/bars or smaller. If you need to sell it not many people can buy a 1000 gram bar, but a lot of people can buy a 1 oz. coin or bar.

But can you trust the testers? What if they are crooks too?

Knowing how China works I suspect an awful lot of that gold is fake. China counterfeits everything.

I saw a National Geographic documentary on diamonds some years ago and they said that the true value of a 1 carat diamond should be about $8 because they are so common. And jewelry stores charge $5000 for them. Jew-elry stores. It's right in the name. @dontcare7086

I wonder if there are any easy tests for tungsten other than sawing the bar in half? I wonder if some type of electrical resistance test since gold is very conductive, maybe tungsten is less so? I won't even buy Gold Pandas on eBay because I sure don't trust the Chinese government to be honest. Only Canadian Maple Leaf, American Eagle, Krugerrand, etc. Nothing Chinese. A nation of crooks.

Yeah and 90% US silver coins. The fractional gold like 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz are way too expense for the gold you get. They're as expensive as the jewelry the original commentor is speaking of. @CmdrSoCal

By "white people" I think you mean Jews. It's a way to dilute the gold and rip off the customer. It's a tradition with them. Always screw the Gentile.

Actually, tungsten weighs almost exactly the same as gold so that's a popular counterfeit now: a tungsten bar that's gold-plated. Remember China's motto: if you can cheat, cheat. What a bunch of jackals.
