  1. China is caught in an inescapable trap. If old people can't retire and must continue working or starve then young people will never find jobs. When people retire everyone below them moves up a notch thus creating vacancies at the bottom for young people. China is doomed on every front. Just more proof that Communism doesn't work. So far it seems to last about one human lifetime. The Soviet Union started in 1917 and collapsed in 1991 = 74 years. Communist China started in 1949 so it has been here for...74 years. It's time.

  2. Yes, and surprisingly it is still legal to own gold in China. Of course they can come collect it whenever they wish. I'm sure CCP officials see private gold as part of "our" gold reserve and probably archive all sorts of info when gold is purchased so they know where it is when they want it. @stlouisix3
