  1. I like gold and silver. Paper money burns. Even if your silver and gold melt in a fire, sift through the ashes and find the hardened puddles. It's still silver and gold. Plus they don't rely on a government to back them. The money is only as good as the government is.

  9. I believe it refers to how during the COVID lockdown people couldn't go out and spend money. Now that they are past that they want to run out and go crazy shopping to make up for the lost time. Such reckless consumerism makes no sense to me.
