  2. I know, right? You'd think the cost of existing homes would be more than homes that aren't built yet. But I read somewhere that Chinese don't like buying a home someone else lived in, bad luck or Feng Shui or spirits or something. Wow, don't tell the Europeans, some of them live in houses 1,000 years old.

  3. They already have too many houses. 20% of them are vacant already and they're building more? Plus their population has started shrinking so they will be like Japan and resort to giving houses away just so someone will maintain them. Except in China your "free" house will still cost an arm and a leg because of all the government fees and taxes. A nation of crooks crawling over one another to get one more yuan in their pocket.

  5. That's my question. Why? You know it's a scam. What isn't in China? The banks won't let you withdraw your money, the stock market is rigged. If I was Chinese I'd buy gold, which, amazingly, is legal in China. Of course, you better make damn sure it isn't fake. How can a country that sired Confucius have turned into a nation of crooks? It's not just the government, it's the people too.

  10. I'm not sure I'd even live under a bridge: it might fall on you in the middle of the night. China needs to go back to grass huts, that way no one will be crushed when they collapse.

  12. I have read several places that Chinese tourists are total pricks. The more I study China the more I think that China is a nation of pricks, not just their leaders but everyone. Everyone says "oh those poor Chinese people...". I'm not so sure. If we knew them better we might say "good, you arrogant a**holes".
