  2. I'm in Montana 40 miles south of the Canadian border. We have had a very mild winter until a couple days ago. Right now as I type this it is -23F. So much for our mild winter. @dnicke

  4. What we know about all of this is a fraction of the total picture yet we are eager to spring into action "to save the planet". The planet has undergone global warming many times even before humans were here. Who saved the planet then? Why did the planet warm if humans weren't here to cause it? I agree with you. Let's understand what's actually going on before we do something stupid.

  6. Yet at night cloud cover keeps the temperature higher than on a clear night. So clouds keep it cooler during the day but warmer at night. So? There's too many factors here to reach a conclusion. Earth wobbles and plate tectonics and more volcanoes and cow farts...I wish a scientist would just stand up and tell the truth: "we don't have a fuck-ing clue want's happening and why it's happening". All of this smacks of a scam in order to bilk unwitting people out of trillions of dollars. @ZafOsophy

  10. When discussing the Earth's heat sources don't forget the heat from the core of the Earth. Mars gets all of the sun in the world since it has no clouds plus it's atmosphere is 95% CO2 (a "warming gas") yet its average temperature is minus 80 degrees F. Perhaps because it's core cooled off from past ages since it once had liquid water? Perhaps because the main source of heat is not the sun but the core? Perhaps CO2 is not the warming gas it is reputed to be?
