  2. How is it that the population is dropping but there is a low supply of houses for sale? I suspect people from elsewhere are buying houses there but not becoming residents, buying for speculation. I suspect wealthy Chinese may be some of those people who are buying anything they can to get their money out of China. They did this in Canada and are doing it in Australia too. It seems the government is making people so poor that they will willingly accept Communism. That saves a bloody revolution I guess.
