  2. It’s all optics, man. Iran shouldn’t retaliate against Israeli strikes, so it looks like Israel struck the decisive blow. That’s how it will play out in the media. Isreal strong, Iran weak. Plus, the American election is almost here. It would destroy the Harris campaign if America was dragged into a war with Iran, by Israel.
