They actually showed him only partially stripping the insulation, taking the strippers off, and then twisting the strands using the section of insulation as a handle. And if you use a Teflon pan properly it never gets hot enough to burn the Teflon.

This was designed for people learning to solder on the NASA assembly line, and all of those details would have been worked out by the engineers and documentated with reams of spec sheets for a component. These guys just had to read the spec sheet and follow the detailed directions. The people doing what you described were in a different building lol

@michaelharrison7983 no, that's not what NASA says, and did you notice that NASA has two moon projects in the works right now? And that multiple countries are sending stuff to the moon as well?

@michaelharrison7983 so you BELIEVE them when they supposedly said that nothing can survive the van Allen belts for a few minutes while passing through, but then say everything else they say is a lie? Lol I suspect that the sites you spend a lot of time on frequently quote the one supposed NASA quote, which is why you think it's so common. Can you find what the quote is so I can see what you are talking about?

They knew it at the time, they just didn't want to put it in the film and were lazy writing that part of the script lol Se the answer above for the details.

@brancheternal if you want to watch it without the timer, you can purchase it from them, but they went to the work of remastering and posting this video, and so they can choose how to display it, because no one is forcing them to even let us watch it! If you want to start a non profit that buys old films and posts them for free with no watermark, feel free to!
