I just watched the one about not being able to fix newer MacBooks because of the chip you couldn't find/hate mailing the parts supplier video, after it showed up on my feed (I didn't look, but I assume it was a recent one? I have watched a few of yours in the past, but nothing recently, which is why I assume it is a new video lol), and I noticed this one in the suggested videos on my way to read the comments. (I am on Android phone app) Then when I came back to the app later, it was in my feed near the top. I have watched some Vice stuff recently, possibly earlier today, so maybe because of that connection it brought it up? So yes, algorithm, but seems tied to recent viewing I have done, which makes it seem logical.

  3. Sound guy here, get an external mic with the right adapter to fit your phone, and put a dead cat on it. Or stick a Bluetooth headset inside the dead cat. You could even put the entire phone into a dead cat, and cut a hole for the camera.

  6. The part that you are ignoring is the real reason he went to jail. He was making a business of selling counterfeit (made by someone other than the name on the disc claimed) OS Restore cds that looked and smelled like the official ones, and then he was selling these by the case to other computer repair companies. It was not a simple case of making a few for his own use, or even just for the computers he personally was working on, he was importing them in bulk for resale as the product.

  7. I am a counselor, and so most calls or messages I get are from toxic people, so I TOTALLY understand what you are talking about... Difference is that my job is helping them be less toxic, so I react a little differently. As an empath I also often get the sinking feeling BEFORE they call, and sometimes can predict who's about to call me lol So pay attention to your gut, it's a valuable tool, and remember that sometimes a simple kind word or listening ear can help give a toxic person a beautiful day.
