The first thing I noticed is that the green carpet looks just like the stuff used to line gold miners sluice boxes, and I suspect that it all gets taken up periodically and washed out to recover all the gold dust. Very clever system. Another great video, you get access to cool places!

I deliver the giant paper rolls to a bunch of cardboard box plants in California, and I love getting to watch the machinery doing this! I never have the time to ask for permission to film it though lol Some of the plants I go to are old with a lot of manual equipment like this one had, and others are basically entirely automated with robots stacking the rolls of paper into the warehouse shelves and retrieving them later as needed, and then the piles of sheets or finished boxes moving on automated roller conveyor systems to the warehouse, with switches that send different products different directions based on the bar code label. All fun stuff to watch! I would enjoy working in the maintenance department at one of these plants, but it's just too noisy! I like to be able to hear myself think lol

@Le_Blnk____ the video starts out with them melting down already purified gold, no refining happens in this video, only processing it into collector bars.

As of today, the small 1.875g bar would be about $110 US dollars just for the gold, the 3 something gram one is around $200, and of course the 18 gram one would be around $1000.

Well done and humorous! Love it!

That's where you get a couple of larger boxes, and basically cut them down and make a custom box yourself.

@ankushn6797 they probably leave all the clothes in the changing room, and periodically they get thrown in the furnace to get all the gold dust out!

@daniellethielen that's covering the seams between the pieces and astroturf carpet, and around the edges of outlets etc. Keeps the dust on the carpet, and keeps people from tripping on the edges.
