  1. Why is no one mentioning that ASAP said that they they were doing 2x abort scenario vibration testing? This means that they were shaking the capsule twice as hard as the maximum expected load with a rocket at Max Q blowing up underneath them! That would be a serious stressor, on an already flown capsule, and so conditions that had never been to tested before. It had also been under this stress for quite a while, because they had done a couple of rounds of Draco RCS testing under vibration, and then were doing the Super Draco test when it blew. And when you combine harsh high energy vibration with those fluid dynamics and pressure spikes in plumbing, you get harmonic back pressure pulses, joint vibrations, and all sorts of wierd effects, so basically under those worst case x2 scenarios, they found a weak point. I would say it did pretty well considering! Lol
