During the 2006 war, a total of 20 Merkava tanks were destroyed but 15 of them were from IED and only 5 from anti tank missiles. Out of the thousands of anti tank missiles fired, only 5 Merkava tanks were destroyed. Having said this, Hezbollah was crushed except for the ones hiding behind women and children
