  2. 1. Why does the US provide munitions to Israel when Israel can produce them itself? The answer is simple, US aid can only be used to purchase US made weaponry. 2. Why does the US aid Israel? Because the US gains more than Israel. Israeli technology transfer, intelligence sharing of the middle east, bases to park your logistic footprint, influence, leverage, stimulus for the US economy and military industries, and come with string attached often cutting out the competition etc.. 3. What happens if the US stops aiding Israel? Israel becomes dependent on its own production line. Israel has its own defense industry and will no longer be required to be under the pressure of US interests. Receiving aid from the US makes Israel committed to US' interests and pressure. The US pressures Israel to not export Israeli made arms to certain countries deemed rogue by the US or hostile to the US. Now how much of revenue is lost annually because of this? 4. Why would the US continue to aid Israel? The aid the US provides to Israel are not free gifts. The US brokered a deal promising aid if Israel returns Sinai back to Egypt. Yes, the US made Israel give up 60,000 km2 of land (3 times bigger than Israel today) promising aid in return. 5. Does the US benefit from aiding Israel? Absolutely, Israel battle tested US F-15, F-16 and F-35, promoting US weapons to the world as capable and combat proven thus increasing interests and sales for the US and then sharing operation data of the systems back to the US. Another benefit for the US is that the aid effectively "kills" Israeli military systems that competes with US made systems. The US pressured Israel to cancel Israeli Lavi fighter jet program because the US was afraid it would compete with the US F-16 on the market. So in return the US proposed ongoing aid. You see, the US aid is not free gifts, it's a tool. Some say US foreign "aid" is economic imperialism with strings attached. 6. What will happen to Israel if the US withdraws all support and isolate Israel? The US stands to lose almost as much as Israel. Russia and China will cozy up to Israel for Israeli cutting edge technology. This will be the US and Europe's biggest nightmare, imagine Russia and China with Israeli made weapons. The US will never allow this to happen.

US outwardly says it is a show of force, but everybody knows it is there to gather intelligence for itself and to monitor Israel not to go too hard on Gaza. Let me give you an example, If Israel were to all out attack Lebanon, Hezbollah, would launch anti ship missiles at US carrier, having said this, the US knows all along Israel would alarm the US before striking Lebanon to prepare the US carrier to move out. This gives the US opportunity to talk Israel out of the preemptive strikes. Without the US protecting Gaza and Lebanon, they both would be long gone.

The US is not allowing Ukraine to use NATO long range weapons to hit Russia's production lines. Ukraine's air force is outdated. This is why Ukraine is relying on artillery. If Russia was beside Israel and hypothetically at war, Russia's ground forces will be obliterated by Israel's superior air force. Israel will dominate the skies above the battlefield. Israel dropped more than 50,000 precision guided munition in Gaza on empty buildings. Now imagine if these missiles were targeted on tanks, artillery pieces, rocket launchers, radars, air defenses and production lines.

I am not talking about guerilla warfare in urban settings, they have the luxury of hiding behind women and children. Stay on the topic. Finland is brave, there is no dispute about it, they fought the Soviet more than 10 times its size but not multiple nations at once. Moreover Finland unfortunately lost land. As for Israel, Israel fought multiple nations from different fronts which means diverting its forces on the north, south, east and west by the coast and yet Israel seized lands more than double the size of Israel itself. And then again Israel fought the Soviets too In 1970 Operation Rimon and won easily. Finland is militarily strong on the defense despite its size, however it lacks ICBM, nukes etc.. Israel has missiles that can reach any point on earth, Israel has anti satellite capability, etc... So again when it comes to military power per capita, Israel is second to none.
