  1. The Assad regime is foolish not to have peace with Israel. It chose Iran and allowed Iran to supply arms to Hezbollah through Syria to target Israel instead. If it weren't the case it would have been in Israel's interest to keep him in power. Israel has the military might to protect his regime from collapsing. The Assad regime picked the wrong allies and is now paying for it.
