  7.  @christinekulper7824  I've seen beavers before up at the family cottage lake in Quebec. Some people said it's muskrat, some said nutria, I don't know. The body looks like a beaver but not the tail. Today's stroll through the park was great for tree ID, while listening to the news from Alex. Lots of willows, maples, horse chestnut, oaks, poplars...🍃 🍁🌿🍂

  8.  @karelnovak2157  thank you for clarifying. Beavers definitely cut down a lot of trees to create beaver dams. I've seen a beaver dam close up in the lake and even drew it many years ago. Beavers love to chomp on soft evergreen trees and birch. Nature is fascinating.
