Well judging from accounts of people running into skinwalkers and wendigos with guns.. They always seem to flee when the person gives off a warning shot.. They also dont seem to approach groups of people.. Instead they try to lure a single person away from a group or just encounter a person that is alone.. So id say you're alright with your shotgun or rifle 👍
