We went from our first airplane to building the Saturn V rocket and landing men on the moon in less than a century. If a civilization exists somewhere that's been around for hundreds of millions of years we can't even begin to imagine what they're capable of. They are also the largest special operations unit in the U.S and have the most modern equipment and assests. If Iran starts something, the Rangers will be let lose, following up with laser guided munitions and then military base and airfield seizures. Iran doesn't stand a chance.
