@kennethphen Taliban doesn't have a Navy or Air Force for the U.S to destroy. They hide in with civilians like cowards knowing that the U.S has set rules of engagement. A fight agaisnt China will be MUCH different for the U.S than the infantry guerilla warfare in Iraq/Afghanistan. The U.S will be able to unleash their full might. Full scale war is much different than small guerilla warfare.

Yep and because of the lack of a proper catapult system, their fighter jets can't take off with too much fuel or munitions, which obviously hinders their effectiveness in range and overall firepower. Plus this thing runs off of conventional steam turbines. That makes it much slower and less reliable than U.S nuclear powered carriers. Plus it can't stay afloat for nearly as long without have to refuel

It is pretty hilarious. They can't even put a proper catapult launch on their carrier. You should also see their horrible carrier fighter jets, the Shenyang J-15's, which are knock off Sukhoi Su-33's, but much worse. Because of the lack of a catapult and the underpowered Shenyang J-15 engines, they can't even operate on a full set of fuel and munitions, which obviously hinders their operational range and overall capabilities. The carrier itself also runs on conventional steam turbines, which is stone age compared to America's nuclear powered carriers that can theoretically stay at see for decades at a time without refueling and are alot faste and larger. This thing, like most everything else in the Chinese military, is a peice of junk.

@jacobl5488 Well in this case, you can tell it's an inferior aircraft carrier just by looking at it. It has a ramp launch system for aircraft instead of a catapult launch system which automatically makes this thing outdated compared to American super carriers.

@noneshere "unlike America"? This piece of junk was commissioned in 2017 and is outdated and inferior in every aspect. The U.S commissioned a MUCH better aircraft carrier in 2019, the USS John F. Kennedy. And even if that wasn't built, all of the other nuclear powered aircraft carriers in the U.S' arsenal are superior to this piece of floating junk 🤣🤣 they would be idiotic to waste anymore money on outdated tech like this. The fighter jets can't even take off with full fuel or munitions ffs. Inferior in every. single. way.
