Microphone is great, you sound cleaner now. I don't know why anyone can defend Apple practices after CBC news, and before it. Just brainlets.

This takes levels of integrty, awareness and sincerity which are unfanthomable for 99.99999% of people living currently. I'm on the other side of the fence - employee. I'm grateful for such video shown here. That's prime example on how to communicate with the world in the most correct way possible. Thank you Louis.

Piracy is just a simple short term band-aid. Proper form of ownership should be having Free as in freedom Software licenses in as much places in our life as possible.
10
Helldivers 2, you mean game that's dead because of stupid Sony decisions and blocking most of people in the world to play it?

To be honest, similar, or even the same thinking can be applied for changing work place for a person, who is afraid of changing it. Since this person does not want to land in 'worse' place in any imaginable matter, be it financially or socially. Can be applied nearly 1 to 1. Thank you a lot.

They can't shove higher battery capacity, with 90Whr they play risky with airports, because there's a limit around 100Whr of battery capacity for laptop during travelling by air. Also, by keeping the same thickness, they can put better cooling solution for entire laptop to keep it cooler.
5
@JocelynAyodele For Filmora, you can use Shotcut, FOSS and better than this paid crap.
5
Soldered port is better than on flexi crappy thing - much more robust.
5
Engagement inception for the sake of engagement inception. Keep it up bois & lads!
4
@DominickDecocko I don't need to make Unique or special myself, because everyone is unique. Apple just sucks, really. Their stupid decisions and design.
4
@angryteapod1765 Or shotcut, hell, even Blender can edit videos
3
Better than high seas is just using FOSS alternatives and help them grow.
3
They will put cover opening detection sensor and still would need to go to their facility ;)
3
That's the reason we should support projects like OpenACH, GNU Taler and others, because payment systems are the one of the most closed walled-garden things currently exist....
3
@shred1894 Saved so much that if you have anything generated by AI in your game it might be removed from steam xD
2
NewPipe fixed their recent 403 issues :)
2
@steveschlackman4503 soldered usb port is more robust than port on flexi cable + can be replaced. Not that easy as unplug cable, but still doable.
2
@steveschlackman4503 For me it's better to have more robust, in terms of physical strength, I/O ports but harder to replace (not impossible, just little bit harder) than easier to replace but weaker. Really tough port is IMO worth the effort to replace it
2
Congrats from Poland! Let's cheer everybody, one battle won, but it's not the end - let's gain more strength to push harder and further. I fully endorse and support your work here, even at work.
2
@ClayWheeler It is GPU accelerated
2
The only way to prove that they don't scan is just to have filtering going on and simply have few example images which falls under CSAM criterias and see if it tries to phone home.
2
The issue with coping by chatting with AI is that it might be difficult to find proper help from therapists without shoving loads of money up their pockets or being lucky.
2
@robertg457 search for brainlet in any search engine, like DuckDuckGo or google
2
@EngineScypex dude wtf, if you think they think about us then you're wrong.
1
Well, in Poland I did not have issue with Logitech warranty after I've bought 2nd hand Logitech MX Ergo trackball with defective ball. After precise description with photos what's wrong and asking for replacement ball, which they don't have, they've sent me second trackball for free, so I have two :)
1
I'm afraid, that they will remove that policy and/or they have different policies for different "sections" of their business.
1
As an automotive test engineer this looks for me as screw-you from Ford by designing wiring in this way (not splitting sensors from cricital systems by devices like gateways), but not entirely - since those systems are currently deeply interconnected for ADAS functions and stuff. It's like half-split.
1
Better camera in Pixel 3 and nice things like pen in Note 9,that's why prices jumped high IMO.
1
@PirateSoftware It's interesting to see that you're trying so hard to apply USA-based feet into EU shoes. This is proposition, starter ball to talk about a topic, not a hard law. Plus, you're either missing the sarcasm in the presentation (which you also apply to your own talks), or idk. You THREE should have a conversation. That includes Ross. Without clearing the air, all this effort will go down the toilet.
1
Just... Happy Birthday Louis, keep yourself in a good shape to still teach us awesome things. Huge beer, piece of birthday cake and delicious meal for you. Rest today to gain more power to live.

Foxit paid edition and FlexiPDF from SoftMaker should be fine. Eventually Qoppa PDF Studio or Master PDF Editor
1
About Brave - that's funny you mention them, since even they did some shady things in the past, like reflinks
1
@AnnoyinglyCharming Then start working on learning alternatives, since high seas will stop after one quick checkup from your local police station department ;)
1
It might be connected with current riots in France over the kid and the policeman case, or something like this, please don't punish me :D
1
Correction: HP also had spyware, more specifically - keyloggers, so they're not alone :D
1
For YT alternative, still IMO Odysee is closest we have ;)
1
It's about cheaping out on infotainment, while on the same time relying on it more and more. Really safety-relevant bits do have proper redundancy with cybersecurity built in, but only quite recently, at most there was just simple hash check 'n stuff like resetting calibration values to default.
1
@KopperNeoman Yes, it have. In SoC. First thing that boots is... GPU. Then it wakes up CPU. Go figure. RPIs are next thing to shoot, since their bootlicking behavior towards Broadcom.
1
Unfortunately I don't think he would talk to you or Ross Scott :(
1
...And that probably was last video of Louis Rossman, after which he got silenced because maybe there's something really shady going on :)
1
If you translate this page, dude from that blog slightly defends it. Thats hillarious.
1
What do you think about Pine64 and their phones?
1
About Jitsi - In other link they literally said that they're well funded and don't accept donations, so you're out of luck I think :)
1
That's why PinePhone is better than their attempts, fully.
1
@SanderEvers Well, just use NDA to disallow sharing/tampering this source code and just ship source code alongside binaries :)
1
@chaos.corner Revolut :)
1
Brave have nice features, but it also had issues like embeding reflinks and other things ;)
1
I need to at least partially disagree here. Cryptography is necessary thorough the car as it is more connected with the rest of the world, but, if manufacturer gives an opportunity, like their tool to program it to 3rd party ECUs controlling headlamps, or other elements, we should be OK.
1
At least some cars have API access where you can build your own application around it. Not the best, but at least something.
1
To fully screw apple, he should open source code and schematics for this device, to make them extra angry :D
