  1. Erdulan is a cunning politician so take his words with a large pinch of salt. But yes, it is time to revise the current agreement, and give Turkey its due financial rewards and some say in who can sail through its territorial waters. I can't see the UK agreeing to similar access to the Solent, or the US allowing free uncontrolled passage through Panama (even though it isn't their country). Egypt earns money from Suez.
