  2.  @AArata63  And if you take the trouble to look at the rates of increase and decrease of temperature, you will see that the current extremely rapid rise in global temperatures correlates accurately with the use of fossils fuels/industrialisation.

  3.  @tberry79  There are many tipping points, all of which make the situation worse, some catastrophically. But anything that slows or reverses the CO2 increase, slows the disastrous consequences, and brings the possibility of climate rebalancing closer, even if not in our lifetimes.
