  1. We need a parliamentary system fit for the 21st century, not the 18th. They could start with semicircular chamber instead of one designed for two parties at “two sword lengths”. And a speaker who guides the members more towards cooperation for the good of the country and less of schoolboy point scoring.

  2. You don’t need a mind to be an MP, just the ability to recognise which lobby to enter at voting time. There are NO qualification specified for the job (?) of MP, or PM!
