  1. I used to come to Moscow, to that very station. There are so many beautiful metro stations and all those busy mainline stations, which have been absolutely transformed since the end of the Soviet era, like St Pancras in London, full of shops and restaurants and cafes. You saw the electric busses behind Tucker? Russia is following China’s lead in electrifying public transport.

  2. Ukraine alas has been destroyed by US intervention. If the US hadn’t tried to push NATO right up to the Russian border, there would have been no war. Ukrainians and Russian were like close cousins until the US decided to cause trouble there.
