  1. The refurbishment of the Palace of Westminster is an obscene waste of public funds. Sell it to Disney or Virgin holidays, or let some other turn it into a history theme part. The building is very obviously not fit for purpose in the 21st century. The second chamber should be a house of experts, elected by PR, and with power to hold up unsuitable legislation, and not be overruled by the "lower" chamber.
