  1. The British media is almost completely controlled by the right, so persistently undermines any political threat from the left. Corbyn was thus undermined with a mixture of lies about his supposed antisemitic views (he was anti right wing Israeli politicians) and belittling of his honesty and radical politics. He was extremely popular with younger voters for these very reasons. He is not a natural leader, and not a good campaign organiser, but a combination of his desperately needed left ideology and Starmer's cool statesmanship could and should win and restore Britain to some respectability. If the party continues to self-destruct and Starmer pursues a Blairite rightward lean, the party and the country are doomed to Tory dictatorship for many generations.
