  7. Excellent analysis. The IMF is there to impose American style private enterprise. It is NOT there to help countries to sustain their development except according to US requirements. Any socialist like policies have to be squashed in order to get IMF money. This was quite clearly their policy when I studied economics in the 1970s. Nothing has changed.
