China's huge success in the development of green technologies like solar panels and EVs has enabled them to play a leading role in reducing carbon emissions n combating global warming as they are able to sell them at a very reasonable price. Formerly the US n EU has a complete monopoly of green technologies but they are extremely expensive n most countries just cannot afford them. So their claims of leading the world in combating climate change is just empty talk as they are only interested in reaping exorbitant profits due to lack of competition back then. This is part of the reasons for their antogonism towards China
