  1. Most people aren't aware that the US atomic attack on Hiroshima n Nagasaki was completely unnecessary as the entire Japanese war machine was already on the verge of collapse by then. Two main reason for the atomic attack was to test the effects of the bomb on heavily populated areas and to show the Russians who did not have the bomb at that time that look we are willing to kill that many people in achieve our absolute world dominance.
