Its policies r now only beneficial to a group of privilege inner circle at the expense of the other half. Much reform is needed but it will never come as those who have benefited massively from the old order will try to resist any reform that will erode their long held privilege. The world has changed n they now has a better choice. No matter how hard they try to preserve their unipolar world order, including using all forms of criminal actions at their disposal, change is inevitable.

Expecting those who have benefited massively from their dominance n exploitation of the other half to change their mindset is futile as they think it's their inherent right to do so. The US has in place an entire ecosystem to ensure they can dominate till eternity. This can only end with the demise of the USD hegemony but looks unlikely to happen in the near future. Though they r signals that this is being challenged, it will only make them more dangerous as evidenced by what they r doing in Ukraine.
