While FLUX might be good at generating photorealism, my understanding is that it fails at generating artistic styles, something at which Midjourney excels.

@OnigoroshiZero Midjourney was obviously trained on millions of styles of imagery while FLUX seems to have only been trained on photos and maybe some anime. There's no fine tuning for styles if that's the case.

@iankrasnow5383 that's the stuff i like. The styles that don't look like ai. At least with 3 yo art, you can generate that yourself, lol.

@risphereeditor Where can I find samples of flux styles? All I see is a few generic ones like anime or Pixar crap. MJ has 10s of thousands of diverse artistic styles, supporting centuries of art history. I haven't seen that with flux. I don't think flux is trained on that.

@randymarsh6363 I'm as much an artist as any photographer. And you don't know my background. I'm a graphic designer and 3D artist. I just could never draw blobby natural things like realistic people or animals. Now I can, even though it takes a lot of work to get AI to do what one wants, similar to getting a good photo. There's a lot of crap to wade through, but the tools get better every day.
