  1. Dude, the government has always focused on national security. And AI being able to decrypt those secrets is a huge concern. Of course they want to monitor advancements in AI. No need to be conspiritorial about it. And you stating the US has never done anything to help humanity is really ignorant. Yes, the US has exploited and done harm. But that doesn't erase the centuries of historic achievements. Stop serving the koolaid.
