Wow I remember this from highschool, and happening at the time the X-Files was in full swing. The good ole days before the craziness from 99 on.

Hooray 2025 and the richest person (officially) bought the US government for 44.5 billion dollars. 44 to buy Twitter, less than .5 to buy Trump. So ya here we are. Get your pitchforks

The Big bang was a mocked explanation back in the early 1900s. But like many things that sound catchy it stuck. While it's likely not the absolute beginning the theory is the closest thing that supports the evidence so far. It's very possible the JWST could gather data that may give us a better idea on how and when.

Yesterday 11/28/22 in NE OH, I got into a climate change discussion and that guy got all upset, he did the Gish Gallop of the past glaciers, and 1volcano puts out more than all mankind, I'm like woah clearly you got the Fox streamer burned into the bottom of your TV.

Try again, maybe actually read the paper and not the cherry picked lines.

Here's hoping sanity will leech in for the next couple years.

I can say a pro "remedy of perceived tyranny" group in the Buckeye has Rank choiced voting as an evil agenda, can ya guess who they think is evil? Ya there is hyperbolic rhetoric but the last decade has shown us they're way more than willing to act on it as seen on TV narrated by the BBC as if they were witnessing an auto coup.

Weird how those top democracy countries are not run on religion in politics.

And yet anything simple people can't understand without critical thinking and science say God did it. Lightning God, viruses God did it (thanks alot), volcanoes clearly God.

I think there's a much bigger one than Jim Jones, a cult like mentality is definitely there I guess that'll be something to reflect on a few years down the road.

Ya we're just not even going to acknowledge January good call

17:00 this smells of Solar roadways, or the sunlight in the dark from a satellite for several more minutes.
1
Hilarious that this came out today after Texas Storm Chaser shared Ercots posting an advisory out to conserve because of the heat. The comments are hilarious to those who understand reality. I urge anyone to check em out, between AOC, Green deal, wind turbines, solar, BBB, ppl crossing over and of course all the EVs... Looking at you city people and your Tesla's 😂 hope you all manage this heat well.

That was a great episode.

Joe move to Ohio apparently we're Texas-lite at the moment, hopefully that will change and we'll be way less Abbott and Clownshow, plus minimal tornados mostly small ones, lots of flooding but no long droughts like the late 80s and mid 90s. Where I'm at Cle is an hour, Pittsburgh is 80mins away and what you're gone is valued today you could probably almost double it here but less solar.

Wow missed opportunity to Johnny Cab cut scene from Total Recall. SMH

So what I'm hearing and already suspected because I remember things in how they were early 80s is NE Ohio will be pretty sweet in the next decade or so. The Lake Erie Snow Machine will still be a factor for heavy snowfall amounts when cold artic air slams across the great lakes, but we'll likely continue to see less to nearly snow free winters. Unfortunately that means a highw chance of ice breaking tree limbs and power lines, like in southern Ohio and Kentucky. The idea that the freezline is moving north has been around for a long while, we can adapt but wildlife cannot. They can't simply change latitudes 200-1500 miles only the feathered dinosaurs and insects can aside from us hairless apes.

19:00 You mean Regan's alien invasion speech about something that would unite humanity or at leat the capitalist?
1
Info silos are dangerous, flatearther being the low end and the current Qult whatever we have in the US just swallows up people to reject anything that's objectively verifiable data and hard evidence and yet they reject it.
1
Proof that an early building block to form life existed elsewhere than just Earth? Ya that'll be a pretty big deal.

IF only there was some simple, cheaper, practical solution that everyone could do that would benefit all. Huh I guess "thoughts and prayers" I hear they work on Facebook.

Wow no mention of the Simpsons episode on automated trucking clear back in 1999?
1
That opening story seems cute, but if interacting with the parallel universe caused her affliction why nit her friend too? They bith can see this thing menaing they were both in that crack, so why wouldnt they both be nearly paralyzed?

3:00 the old days when we would scrutize marriages to rich Americans from Warsaw Pact or Warsaw Pact adjacent counties. 😏
1
Joe you didn't take it to the Nth level like the space based solar shields. What about building pipelines to take all this extra rain we get in the Eastern Time Zone (the best time zone) and send it back. Creates jobs, adds more CO2 to make the pipes it's like a win win (sarcasm)

I was hoping for a Freejack moment on the uploading your mind, for the younglings here that was a pretty cool dystopian sci-fi movie if taking people who were going to die and becoming vessels for old rich people's minds back in the early 90s with Mick Jagger. Nothing like today 😂

There's likely many who live outside the populated areas that managed to avoid exposure, it should be available in their vital statistics records.

Ah but socialism is evil, and one political party wants to eliminate social security, Medicare, you know those things we paid into for decades but only if we labored for it cause America is the best and all those other countries wish they were us. Ya the top 1% that owns over half the wealth pay lobbyist to own politicians to have nearly full control of everyone. But freedom it say sht and aim at sht.

Love it, that reference was epic.
