3:20 ya basically if youre a multimillionaire you too can have this setup, plan out a couple years while you live in your other mansion. Maybe next time Rick can bring himself down from the clouds and focus on a solar setup practical for the lower middle class and rheir under 160,000 home in or near the Ohio/Tennessee Valley.

It's like people especially in America forgot a huge part of Australia was on fire before the beginning of 2020. But too many choose to not accept accountability for inaction or grasp at Whatever the lobbyist fund media outlets say it's a mixed bag of warmer climate and poor land management and bad actors, because we can't blame oil and coal that's just unamerican. 🙄 I live in a region where as a kid we had snow piled in parking lots into early spring before they were melted away now they barely are around a week or two in winter. But people my age and well over 50 say it's just a cycle and volcanoes. Speaking of which how did you manage the flooding after Hunga Tunga disrupted the entire hemisphere weather patterns the past year+?

That weekend prior to the headlines we had that sweeping artic air come in from the jet stream, so it likely was overpowered by the sheer wind speed.

Really should leave the waterways and shipping to subject matter experts, all you did was add confusion and tease a little conspiracy in there for cyber attack.

Gees Rick you couldnt point out that the owner didnt want ro rely on ERCOT becuse Texas isnt part of the US grid they have their own privitized grid to totally not maximize profits.

Nah Tesla is a failure, Musk was in court over his fake solar roof tiles at that presentation, that Tesla was essentially an installation company or more like rebranding products from China and paired with Panasonic lithium batteries. You all need to really start thinking critically instead of believing everything Musk says.

3:10 Well ya because it has to be one of if those and not the actual effect from a hotter planet evaporating more water into vapor in the atmosphere the most powerful of the greenhouse gases, THATS JUST NUTS it has to be nefarious reasons because humans cant alter the planet despite claiming at the same time that humans are trying to alter the environment to control people with 5g and aluminum and other things. Some of those nuts need to loosen their tinfoil hats to let some blood flow to their smooth brains.

Cue up the nutjubs on how they believe contrails in moist air are chemtrails.

I love my induction cook top. Cast iron and stainless steel for the win. When I had an outage my gas stove drew 400watts for the gas valve to the oven. The bad thing was my Bluetti EB70S couldn't run my induction cooktop beyond 280⁰ without overloading but it can cook and boil with ease, may not be searing a steak but I'll survive in a power outage.

Its big, big on explosions, big on destruction of nesrby habitats, and economy of scale? Well considering us Americans subsidize a lot of Musk's companies hes not worried...clearly. I mean come on Elon the rocket scientist need to get out if the atmosphere first before any pie in the sky space tourism to the moon or mars daily. Seriously i used to like your content and just recently seen how oblivious some of the SpaceX fans are and their just accepting whatever Musk says as fact. I used to be one, but reality is a lot harder.

Rick 17:00 I thought you were going to be honest with people but apparently you just fanned BS. What part of climate change are Americans actually doing to help mitigate it? Are they reducing their love of big SUVs and giant houses all while Oil CEO's and shareholders want even more profit while muddling that anthropogenic climate change is in fact happening byntheir bought politicians and their social media influencers to make it seem it could be anything and we just dont know. You claim to be an engineer but you seem to totally gloss over the whole reason why there is more water vapor in the atmosphere, why sudden downpours occur like they do. How come you cant see the west of the Mississippi is dry as a bone but over here in the east we'll get dumped on with a months worth of rain or snow in a day ir two? You truly did a disservice here if you actually cared about the environment by playing yhe whataboutisms and we can't predict tye weather two days out, THAT claim you made is absolute BS. With more advanced satellites and computer modeling 5-7 day forecasts are very close and 10-14 day outlooks are improving. Heck AccuWeather puts out month forecasts. But predicting the climate it would seem real scientist stated a lot of the things that would happen by the early mid2000s back in the 1970s are in fact happening now with some more than others. Youve basically glossed over what is being proposed while highlighting the bad from decades ago with this playing god BS, seriously when satellites barely existed back then and data collection was slow and not widespread. You might as well of said we should not have have nuclear powerplants because of the disaster at Windscale in 1957.
