Because they're averaged. What was extreme 100 years ago has now been averaged in the record. Maybe you should tell the plants and animals that it's not as hot as it was.

@peterzoeftig2513 What kind of plants again, how are the mosquitos migrating further north into colder climates, how often do plants sprout up month or two sooner than what has been the norm and the migratory animals who rely on some of those plants are no longer match in those times? Why do you think people who live near the equator are moving north? They ain't bring fentanyl like I'm sure you believe fully.
