  2. They've been an issue for 3 years now, as it became very evident by fall 2020. Of course we must thank our freedom loving CEOs and shareholders who exported most manufacturing there for super cheap labor, barely any regulations and certainly no quality or safety in mind. Sure small arms no problem, AAA she'll limp back to fight another day, but unless youre facing a technologically inferior foe its shortcomings become more apparent rapidly with modern geound to air missles. I would have so loved to have seen a wing just straffe the hell out of soviet armor this past year to do what it was designed for unfortunately against the grandsons of whom it was envisioned for so long ago, it would seem the only thing that changed over the life of the A10 is that Russia adopted some capitalism and more rampant oligarchy was it's just smaller and longer called the Soviet Union. Today you have pocket size drones delivering bombs onto trenches and tanks well under 1 kilometer range in close combat situations in Ukraine.

You did mention PTSD but how long was it before the US gov recognized it, then how much hell did vets have to get any meaningful help? Not including the physical injuries. The politics of the PACT Act highlighted this for all to see. Where 25+ years ago various issues were buried in the back of the news. Public schools have been purposely underfunded for decades, the talk of vouchers to send kids to private "religious" schools instead of a public education for all there's been a concerted effort to push indoctrination by using public funds funneled to private schools.

  19. I really wouldn't be surprised if this visit was deliberately done to observe CCPs response. If we learned anything in the last 5 months with Russia there were a lot of expectations on Russia running over UA in a week and yet here we are Putin struggling to get prisoners and other foreigners to fight all the while their war machines are being popped open, so it's possible this was an attempt to see what China could do if provoked enough to see if they're mostly all talk like what was the Soviet Union and possibly destabilize Xi further with all the other unrest he's facing by the hour.
