Anything that would help our citizens is bad (especially the others) the old pull themselves up by their bootstraps narrative, or they shouldn't be here. We can give billionaires unpaid for tax breaks and defund social services and public education because uneducated desperate people will do what you want them to if you have the money. I've seen this for 30 years when I was old enough to see it.
