First issue is how vulnerable grid elements are as recently shown again this fall with some individuals taking aim at substations, which has happened several years ago. Mixed use will be helpful in places it makes sense. But baseload is king and nuclear can do it, people need to look at what's reality and what actually is dangerous and hazardous to life.

The only way we can buffer That rate is S.A.I. while getting the necessary reductions that are a must implemented especially by those who have made massive fortunes on the business of burning carbon. I do like Thunderf00t's video on the Faustian Deal our "betters" signed the dotted line decades ago condemning our great grandchildren to their (now our) legacy.

5:50 surely the capitalist wont have the same attitude as early colonization had on the people who were already there, right? 😐

If you want to see a bit harder take on the climate crisis and the buffer solution I cannot recommend Thunderf00t enough. He does a lot of clips sometimes to run up to the crux of the argument or situation but be patient titled Our Legacy, your future explained. So if your an 70-80's kid even 90's you'll get all the references. Then he does two more on the green washing and finally the buffer that's on the table to at least buy humanity and climates some time.

Trees are only a small solution, even if we stopped burning carbon today, we would not see a reduction to CO2 levels of the 70 for at least 100 years. Trees are good but what good are they when pine beetles are wiping them out? Other invasive species from hotter regions continue north as the thermal line keeps moving to the poles. A lot needs to change

So the good and bad, the good California got a massive amount of snow in one event so that will help some relief but it won't help the Texas region. And like Snowmagedden because it snowed the brilliant of our "most handsomest politicians" will declare warming is over. A slideshow of regions from historical pictures 30-50-80-100 years ago to what those same places look like in this decade.

I can attest in my 40+ years of life in NE Ohio. Winter is almost down to 2 months. Even for the holidays going up to the heart of the snowbelt doesn't guarantee snow covered trees and homes lit up. Granted we had a massive early last year and was the longest remaining in a long time before melting away a few weeks later. And I'll hear people older and younger than me proclaim climate change by anthropogenic means is not real, or is not as bad as we claim. Growing seasons will need to be updated as even our Fall the weather is like the beginning of September until December almost the last decade.
