There is so much history and it all must be put out there for many reasons. More so now with the literal executive order of cancelling everyone elses culture. We all grew up from Popular Mechanics, Invention (way back on Discovery channel), all the movies of the 80-90's of flying cars, moon bases, asteroid mining, interstellar travel, high speed rail (well in the US), the nuclear family, the world of automation and abundance. All the cons saw were an easily manipulated market of dreams and ideas and then brought their toxic traits with them. If you want these things you have to endure this, and if it doesn't come to fruition well it's these people over there fault it didn't happen.

We'd have moon bases by 2000 and Mars, flying cars and all these things that were depicted in sci-fi movies and yet it looks the same as it did when we were kids.
