  1. I would say we are at base reality. Humans would destroy themselves before we had the technology and infrastructure to implement this worldwide. We are currently dying as a species now and will be lucky if we are still around 50 years from now.

  2. Deja vu would explain that we live our life again and again over and over and we are remembering remnants of living the same moment. Just like the big bang, there is a theory that there is the big crunch, which means time goes backwards from the end of existence back to the point of the big bang, to then start time going forwards again. Each time it goes forwards decillions and decillions of years at a time, we then experience our same life once again.
