  1. I must be one of the few people that hated this then. I feel the characters are terrible. All bland and lack the "character" of the characters in Game of Thrones. No decent memorable music apart from the original theme on the title screens. Very little politics in the series and when the time jump happened, then I lost interest. I only watched up until episode 6. I might give it another chance then, since so many people are raving about it.

  2. I watched the film yesterday. The best recent film I have seen for years! Although there is still a little bit of wokeness to it, nothing major that damages it though.

Why do people seem to hijacked perceived offense, then make it their own now? I was just saying that a "badass" woman character is not automatically a good thing and that a realistic character is what's important even if that character is strong. plus you don't have to punch to be strong.

  12.  @mateoreyes6921  Yes! They tried the same thing many times before, with immune children and have failed every time. Something they never mentioned to Joel. It was on some medical report you find in the facility, you try and bust Ellie out of near the end of the game. Probably a Youtube video of it somewhere.

  15. I agree. But I have been seeing that crap in practically all of these superhero movies. I don't see the fascination really, because they always turn into flops. I think the first Ironman was the best film and that was just a quite good movie.

  18. I've just meet him today and he has increased the scare factor by 10! Before him I never really felt tense or afraid of exploring. Now he's following me everywhere! Every time I try to go to where the sub-machine gun is, he comes roaring down the corridor after me, so I need to make a hasty retreat, while shitting my pants! He was across the other side of the station when I last saw him! I swear he teleports! It was a surprise for me for him to appear, because I never seen him in the original! I never realised there was a new scenario after the game was finished!

  19.  @danelynch7171  One of the main ingredients to gaining muscle, is rest. He won't be resting enough if he is out pushing himself everyday. So if you look at it that way, it's realistic, particularly when muscle size doesn't denote muscle strength.

The drinker is now fed up and seeks refuge in the bottle! hence why his closing line is now "That's all I have to say for today, GO AWAY NOW!!!"

Left wing ideology is so obviously flawed, that it shouldn't take anybody with a bit of sense, more than a few moments to see the contradictory hypocrisy. The difference between a person like Drinker and a typical left wing SJW, is the SJW will dictate what you can and can't say, while Drinker will just disagree with the SJWs, while not trying to control what other people can or can't say. It should be also noted that these SJW's ideology is being promoted and pushed through society, while the average people's opinions are being denounced and/or criminalized. We are not living in a society with equal free speech anymore.

  42. +syzygy10 No, I agree with you. I don't know why the Drinker likes this so much! As you said, nothing really happens. A basic plot that takes ages to push forward. The film has that slow feeling to it, a bit like Alien 3, where it feels more like a tech demo. One thing that pissed me off was where Jason Momoa stated that those tribes men are brutal fighters where he barely won, but then the leader gets beaten by a middle aged woman in seconds who doesn't really fight (typical feminist moment) and the main character takes on three of them and dispatches them in the same time. Then he goes one on one with another challenger and wins easily! I thought this house/tribe were meant to be good fighters? This film is just like all of the others, has no substance.
