@flight I remember hearing all of the audio and it does seem that the pilots knew it was a bird, but just tried to lock on to it as a challenge and then they were impressed with the targeting technology.

19:37 - Yeah this one is a seagull or bird. You can see the wings flapping, since the cursor box around the bird is changing length. Plus the waves behind are big which tells you that the "object" is small. There is audio which you can hear the pilot talking as he is targeting the bird, which he did as a challenge to see if he can lock on to a far small object.

Remember when the government use to cover up UFO sightings? Seems it's in their interest to distract people with the belief of UFOs now.
