@poulwinther That's right! Cortisol is a muscle wasting stress hormone, that is released within the body after a hour working out.

+Mac Park Is it true that the US Army put steroids in the food to make the soldiers bigger and stronger? I've heard this claim a couple of times.

@shannonmonroe5873 lol! It would not surprise me if that ends up being true!

@matty6848 Yes, I don't doubt it.

So does that mean you see yourself as a skinny guy in the mirror, when you are not? If so, does that mean that anybody who doesn't work out, look like skeletons to you? Real questions. Thanks!

The Rock - "I worked out 6 hours a day, every day, for the last 20 years straight" If he did that naturally, then he would have died years ago. Steroid users don't need rest days.

@lightmorrison5404 lol! You say that as if you drink it daily.

@lightmorrison5404 Just don't lift weights longer than 50 mins and you should be fine. Cortisol only get produced after an hour of lifting weights, but then stays in your system for several hours.

@lightmorrison5404 I'm not sure if feeling anxiety produces cortisol, but lifting weights or doing extensive workouts for long periods (1 hour +), is very stressful for the body. I don't believe a mental state puts the body in the same state. You best do some research on it.

@jasonwojnar9673 Don't feel like you have to hold back. What are you questioning here?

@corystafford4950 The two words "expensive" and "illegal" hasn't stopped the US military before. But I believe steroids in the food probably is a myth judging from the well made arguments people here, made about it.

Benching 100kgs once is decent for anyone. I think the natural limit for 1 rep is around 150kgs - 160kgs. Good job!
