  1. Yes, the whole thing is a con. Plus energy prices are way too high. They will stay high as long as people are forced to charge their vehicle with it.

Electric cars are not the future. - They catch on fire. - You have to change the battery every 5 years or so which costs 1000s. - You can not resell them, there is no second hand market (because of the battery lifespan). - Takes time finding a charge station and to charge the car when out. - If every person had electric vehicles the national grid would not cope, nor would there be enough charging stations. - If they make fuel cars obsolete, then electric price costs will soar. - They are not more environmentally friendly than fuel vehicles when taking everything into consideration - Global Warming is a con! You want as many different power sources as possible, don't get rid of your fuel car!
