It wasn't really sexist, because he was saying those three guys knew what they were doing. He was abrupt and a bit rude, but he wasn't sexist. If the girl was a guy and the man said the same thing to him it wouldn't be sexist. Just because the recipient is a different sex shouldn't make something sexist. Heaven forbid a woman has a bit of verbal conflict in her life and not getting her own way all of the time! The message they are sending here is to not upset women specifically, regardless if it's needed or trivial.
