As long as the third-party anti-virus is still supported on Win 7, there are no worries.

sample rates above 44.1/48KHz are useless :-) it is just marketing b*s :-)

Where is Linux? When moving from x86 to ARM, then you might also want to move to Linux ....
3
It is all Debian ;-)
3
@mikem9536 256 MB is plenty, more than enough; just do not run Linux
3
What about the Orange Pi 4B? Any video coming soon?
3
Why using Python? Just because it is a hype? :-P
3
Who oh why Windows on ARM .... Windows is optimized for x86 only. Just keep it with Linux on ARM.
2
Why using that slow Python interpreting language - going back to the future? There are good C/C++ libraries for the PCA9685. https://www.adafruit.com/product/2327 https://www.adafruit.com/product/815 https://github.com/vanvught/rpidmx512/tree/master/lib-pca9685

@AndersJackson Ok. Understood. No UI ;-)
2
no eMMC, no SPI flash for booting from. Still USB-Ethernet? So basically just a more modern Broadcom SoC. Not all that exciting ;-)
2
"The Pi 4 has dedicated Gigabit Ethernet, and because it's no longer throttled over USB, its networking speeds are much faster."
2
Why oh why Windows on ARM? Windows is optimized for x86. ARM is the best with Linux or embedded OS.

It's a shame that they named this one the Orange Pi Zero '2'. It is not compatible with the Orange Pi Zero 256MB LTS. Mostly confusing.
2
Great new distro. My favorite Desktop: select none ;-)
2
Why not CCleaner?
2
Why not comparing with the Orange Pi Zero LTS? That one is 8$ and it includes Ethernet and SPI Flash.
2
@ExplainingComputers Ok. That's fair. I am using the Orange Pi Zero LTS as an embedded (non-linux) platform, hence I do not look at HDMI.
2
Why do we still get these kind of videos's? The Raspberry Pi is never designed as a desktop PC. It's a SBC for educational purposes.
2
@mikem9536 No, it 2020 as of today ;-)

Great video, thanks! I am looking for a ARM based SBC with 2 Ethernet ports; 2 EMAC's. Not the second one on USB hub. Any pointers are much appreciated. Thanks, Arjan

No macOS support ;-(
1
The Raspberry Pi 3 has also 64-bits ARM in the SoC
1
@googleplusisdead "I'd never buy a new Apple product." -> Ok. And show some respect for Apple users.

Well...you could also do it with an Orange Pi Zero. That could be cheaper.
1
@ExplainingComputers Hmm..so the foundation is now more or less a commercial factory.
