  5.  @1685Violin  No it doesn't, it justifies treating minorities like white people, as people in general. AA handicaps more qualified people just because they were not born a minority or a woman, which violates the Civil Rights Act because they are not being treated equally.

  6.  @peterroberts4415  They didn't need it, they were already successful amongst themselves, the Civil Rights Act and desegregation meant that black people could compete with white people on the market in the whole country, they didn't need a leg up.
