Right? But I recently had to go through TSA and it's a joke. You can't take your water bottle full of water through security, but there's a water fountain/fill station right after you leave security and they don't even make sure your travel size liquids are out and it's a pain in the arse if you have to travel with kids and/or pets and you feel like you're holding up the line because you have too much shit to remember and then you have to be reminded to take your damn shoes off and even if you wore the most flat footed sandals, they'd still make you take them off I bet (even worse if you have ADHD or are scatterbrained). I don't feel safer with it, I just felt annoyed, irritated, and flustered.

I was 15 and didn't care because I lived in California and nothing on this side of the country was attacked. I was also half asleep in zero period PE watching the news in the rainy day classroom they had.

What happened was that the alphabet agencies had a stupid rivalry issue that affected their communication with each other. They still do because they never learned their lesson. But it's okay, it's more important to win their d1ck waving contest than it is to safeguard the country!
