You miss the point. People want to be able to be a separate entity from the group while still being in the group. They don't want to be some cog in the machine like what communists want, they want to be recognized for the things they do and achieve on their own even if it's contributing to the group. Clothing has nothing to do with it, since most societies tend to dress in similar ways, but some have the option to wear it styled differently or use certain colors or patterns.

Humans are omnivores though, we evolved to eat plants along with the meat. Do we do better eating exclusively meat when there is no vegetation? Yes, but in areas with edible vegetation, humans ate both.

@leandersearle5094 Modern day pork should not be riddled with parasites and even then, cooking it to a specific temperature kills them. Nothing wrong with shellfish as long as it's fresh and from clean waters.
