  3. If I were living in China, I would only eat imported meat, considering some of the food practices I've heard of. I refuse to buy Smithfield precisely because it's owned by a Chinese company.

  4. Honestly, I think subsidies should be cut, that's a partial reason why farmers and ranchers overproduce. The government will pay them regardless of what happens to the meat. That's why the US has a huge supply of cheese stored in caves.
