I'm surprised Tokyo doesn't have housing codes dictating that living spaces must have access to a toilet that is available in the building 24 hours. You couldn't do that in the US.

No, a Sims player.

I wanna go on a Japanese ferry and have ever since I started watching Solo Travel Japan, the man has ridden all the ferries a few times each in various cabins.

These are luxury apartments, so you could probably get a bigger space for the same price at a non-luxury apartment complex.

@thatwolffe3802 I feel the same way, except the US haha.

@Dormiscere They feed you, so that's like what, $200 out of the whole price? Plus you have kitchen space if you don't want what they're serving.

If they weren't student apartments, I'd be against the built in desks, but you could still make the first desk work, it's long enough where you can put a plastic dresser both under and on it. I like how the shelf on the loft level and accessible from both sides.

The US also doesn't require elementary students to use special backpacks. It's a nice tradition, but they seem kind of cumbersome for a child, considering how few things children need to bring to and from school at that age.

Ah yes, the automatic blur when the one monkey jumps on the other monkey.

You have me convinced to just go to thrift shops for anime figures when I go to Japan. The variety is insane! And no, never stop nerding out about toys! I rarely see anyone do it and toys can be awesome.

I still kinda remember the little jingle for the American pocket Pikachu commercial, I had no idea what a Pikachu was at the time. My brother got an N64 and we had an NES that I'm sure my dad bought when I was a baby, it's all gone now. Also, I would think the GameCube is considered retro and the GBA and GBA SP.

lol The random Eminem album in the records.

Akihabara, but I'm a weeb. Also the area for knives, I want a good Japanese knife, they look so nice.

My dog broke the middle finger on my left hand 12 years ago (it got caught in the leash handle when she took off to sniff another dog when I was putting my other dog inside) and the doctor didn't set it right, so it can't close all the way and gets in the ways of the fingers on either side of it depending on if my hand is open or not. It makes it hard to properly clench my fist and it hurts if I knock on something too hard. But I know how you feel about the shamisen, I wanted to learn guitar, but if I can't get my finger fixed, I don't think it's gonna happen. That's insane how one broken finger, even the pinky, can affect so many things. I hope you gain full use of your hand so you can get your pilot's license.

When starting a campfire, I've seen it's a good idea to put the wood into a cone or teepee shape. My brothers were in Boy Scouts, so yeah. You make me want to go camping and I hate camping lol.

Beard Papa has a couple of locations in Southern California that I know of. Y! Mobile looks like it's owned by Yahoo! because that's their logo on their site. You probably remember how diversified malls were in the 90s (I'm guessing US and Canadian malls were quite similar), now it's mostly clothes with maybe a Sanrio store or a store for general Asian things, a Spencers, a Hot Topic (they're a full on nerd store now), a food court and clothing/shoe stores. Some have gachapon, but it's a small section, and/or a children's play area. I have one near me that has a full on gym that where you can stare at the people on the treadmills lol.

I couldn't live there... maybe use it as an office space, but that's it.

Yeah, I just went through a heatwave a couple weeks ago that got that hot, but it's also dry where Iive. But if it gets that hot in the summer there, I don't understand why Japan doesn't install central AC?

Oh damn, Yo-Chan wearing a Deftones shirt! I see he is also a man of culture.

The old lady gushing over you was so adorable!

I'd like the 2nd apartment with a smaller fridge and the bigger fridge would work better in the 3rd apartment/dorm room.

Considering EA's reputation, I'm not too excited for the sponsorship.

But does she ever need to take a ferry? And the part that latches to the container looks pretty long, compared to how short the ones here in the US are.

They all have washer hookups, the last guy just doesn't use his. I like the 1st and 3rd WC's, I don't mind leaving the door open if means leg room.
